Today, we proudly celebrate Julie Gosselink and 25 years of extraordinary leadership with the Claude W. & Dolly Ahrens Foundation.
Serving as President, CEO, and Chair of the Foundation, as well as Assistant Treasurer of the Ahrens Park Foundation, Julie has devoted her career to strengthening our community through philanthropy, collaboration, and service.
Julie’s impact extends far beyond the Foundation. She serves as a Trustee of Grinnell College and Managing Partner of the Strand Theatre, LLC, and has shared her leadership and expertise with numerous organizations, including Build A Better Grinnell, the Grinnell Chamber of Commerce, Grinnell Education Partnership, Grinnell Regional Medical Center Foundation, Iowa Council of Foundations, LINK, Mayflower Community Foundation, and S.H.E. Counts. She also co-chaired the Drake Community Library Capital Campaign Fundraising Committee and served on the selection committee for the Grinnell College Innovator for Social Justice Prize.
With a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Northern Iowa, Julie has devoted her professional life to creating opportunities, strengthening organizations, and improving lives.
For 25 years, Julie’s vision, dedication, and commitment to service have helped shape the Foundation’s legacy and positively impact countless individuals throughout our community and beyond.
