Ahrens Park is replacing equipment and surfacing in two playgrounds which had reached the end of their useful lives, and the April 20 We Are Grinnell Day came along at just the right time. Led by Coach Tony Stenburg, the GHS Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) arrived at Ahrens Park on April 20 to help with the installation of some of the new playground equipment. These kids truly are “leaving it better than you found it”!
