Need Help with Rent or Utilities?

If you or someone you know is struggling to keep up with rent or utility payments, the Poweshiek Housing Assistance Fund (PHAF) may be able to help. We provide direct financial assistance to landlords and utility companies to help individuals and families stay in their homes.

How It Works:

Assistance is handled anonymously through the Grinnell Housing Authority.

Funding is provided on a case-by-case basis.

Up to $500 per year is available for qualifying individuals.
