Claude W. Ahrens has truly set a philanthropic example to all. “Leave it Better Than You Found It” is the motto of the Claude W. and Dolly Ahrens Foundation. Through this Foundation, the Ahrens Foundation Corporation, the Ahrens Park Foundation, the Claude W. Ahrens Charitable Trust, and his personal giving, over $25 million dollars has been granted to many worthwhile organizations and projects within the state of Iowa, especially to Claude’s native city of Grinnell, IA.
